OVERSEAS BUYER CHALLENGE
Site power, physical space and local operating requirements rarely fit a generic charger quotation.
PROJECT RESPONSE
Use the questions below to build a clear project brief before final model selection. This reduces late changes in electrical, connector, payment, certification and installation requirements.
What can we do when the site has limited available electrical power?
Start with the site's usable capacity, existing load profile, expected charging window and simultaneous vehicle demand. Dynamic load balancing and power-allocation options can then be reviewed for the selected equipment and operating plan.
Which chargers are suitable when installation space is limited?
Xiaochong's new dual-gun and four-gun DC designs use an ultra-slim, space-conscious form for constrained commercial sites. Final dimensions, service clearance, cable reach and site protection must be confirmed with the selected model drawing.
Should a site choose dual-gun or four-gun DC charging?
Choose by peak concurrent demand, charging windows, power allocation and bay layout. Four-gun options are listed at 80kW, 120kW, 160kW and 240kW; new dual-gun options are listed at 60–240kW. Model-specific operating data must be confirmed.
Can one self-service host collect payment and start charging at a large station?
Yes, a project-configured self-service host can be discussed for larger unattended sites. The number of connected chargers, supported payment methods, controller, network and integration approach depend on the destination market and final project scope.
Which connector standards can be discussed?
Connector options include CCS1, CCS2, NACS and GB/T depending on the selected product configuration and destination market. Share the target vehicles and country before the connector mix is confirmed.
What input voltage range can be reviewed?
Suitable projects can review 260–485V AC input. A custom ultra-wide input-voltage solution can also be discussed after the supply conditions, selected product and local electrical requirements are confirmed.
What is the standard charging-cable length?
The charging cable is generally supplied at 5 metres as standard. Longer or shorter cable lengths can be discussed according to bay geometry, vehicle charge-port position and the selected model.
Are the new charger screens designed for outdoor use?
The product range uses responsive capacitive touchscreens. Selected new models list enhanced brightness and reduced outdoor reflection, with 15.8-inch and 21.5-inch display options. Final screen and protection data are confirmed by model.
How should certification questions be handled?
We have already helped many customers understand and advance relevant certification qualifications. Tell our sales team which certification and destination market you need so the applicable information can be reviewed for the selected model.
Can Xiaochong provide SKD technical output for local assembly?
For selected products, project-based SKD technical output can be discussed, including defined supply scope, English manuals, BOM, test guidance, factory-test reporting, OCPP integration, commissioning and testing support. The final package is agreed project by project.
